Welcome to Doctor. By accessing and using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an account, booking an appointment, or otherwise using our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services
Doctor provides an online platform that connects patients with healthcare professionals for appointment booking. We facilitate the connection but are not a healthcare provider.
- We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- We are not responsible for the quality of medical services provided by doctors
- All medical decisions should be made in consultation with qualified healthcare professionals
3. User Accounts
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age (or have parental consent)
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Appointments
- Appointments are subject to availability
- Confirmation of an appointment does not guarantee a specific outcome
- Patients should arrive on time for scheduled appointments
- Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance
5. Payments
- All fees are displayed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT)
- Payment is processed securely through SSLCommerz
- Consultation fees are determined by individual doctors
- A service charge may apply to each booking
6. Doctor Registration
Doctors registering on our platform must:
- Hold a valid BMDC (Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council) registration
- Provide accurate professional credentials
- Maintain professional standards of care
- Comply with all applicable medical regulations
7. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
- Submit false or misleading information
- Harass or abuse other users, doctors, or staff
8. Reviews and Ratings
Users may leave reviews and ratings for doctors. Reviews must be honest, respectful, and based on actual experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the Doctor platform are owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
Doctor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on our platform. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
